Why Carrots are the BEST Vegetable

I’ve eaten a LOT of veggies in my almost 5 years with Mommy. I’ve had everything from romaine, green leaf, red leaf, spinach and escarole to parsley, cilantro, dill, broccoli, and dandelion to tomatoes, carrots, peppers, mint, basil, and more! So, it is safe to say that I’m a veg-pert and as such, I can assure you that carrots are simply the BEST vegetable. Firstly, they are usually orange, which is my favorite color.

How many things in life are orange? Not many…that makes it unique for a color! Plus, they even come in other colors, like purple and yellow, so it is basically like eating a RAINBOW. Secondly, they are super crunchy and make for great chomping/filing practice for my ever-growing teeth, which helps me maintain such an adorable smile.

Thirdly, Mommy says they are good for my eyes, and that’s important because I need to know where and how high to hop.

Lastly, they are sweet and have bushy (and tasty) tops, which basically means you’re getting two vegetables for the price of one! This is a picture of me enjoying one – have you had yours today?
